Gentle Support for the Body’s Natural Cleansing & Renewal

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a precise, light-touch therapy that supports the movement of lymph ~ the fluid system responsible for immune function, inflammation regulation, hormonal tissue health, and fluid balance.

Unlike traditional massage, this work is subtle and rhythmic. It follows the natural pathways of the lymphatic system to encourage circulation, reduce congestion, and support the body’s inherent capacity for self-regulation.

The lymphatic system does not have its own pump. It relies on breath, movement, and gentle stimulation. When supported intentionally, the body often feels lighter, clearer, and more at ease.

MLD is offered as well care for women in all life stages ~ from preventative support, post surgery to pregnancy and postpartum restoration.

The lymphatic system thrives on warmth, light, and movement.

  • Red Light Therapy supports cellular vitality and tissue repair.

  • Infrared Sauna encourages circulation and gentle release through heat.

When layered with Manual Lymphatic Drainage, these therapies support the body’s natural rhythm of cleanse, circulate, and restore.

You may book them individually or weave them together as add-on’s to your treatments for a more comprehensive experience.

  • "I loved my massage with Christine. It was so much more than a massage, I really feel like my body experienced a beautiful healing. She really listened to what my body needed. She's so very talented."

  • The quality of service and care that I've received at Rising Earth Healing Arts has been exceptional. Christine starts every session off with a conversation to understand any concerns or physical symptoms that one might be experiencing. She is a deep listener, truly and is able to apply what has been shared into the treatment.

  • It is a hands-on therapy, but the pressure is much lighter than traditional massage. The focus is on lymphatic pathways rather than muscle tissue.

  • For preventative well care, monthly or seasonal sessions can be supportive. For post-operative care, typically treatments begin 6-8 weeks post surgery and continue weekly for 1-2 months (this varies by person). During pregnancy or postpartum recovery, a short series may be beneficial depending on your needs.

  • Some clients notice increased urination, thirst, or mild fatigue as the body processes fluid movement. Drinking water and resting support integration. The intention is regulation and not aggressive detoxification.

  • While MLD does not directly alter hormones, supporting lymphatic flow around breast and pelvic tissue may help reduce congestion and inflammation that contribute to cyclical discomfort.
