Welcome to the River House located on the shore of the Hudson River in New Hamburg, NY.
Our retreat space is nestled in a quiet neighborhood where you can hear the gentle ebbs and flows of the river and take in the magic that living on the river - if but for a moment has to offer you.
We are a seasonal getaway offering the luxuries of massage and bodywork, private yoga classes, guided meditation hikes via the Wappinger Greenway Trail, infrared sauna, hot tub use, personal or group pottery sessions all year long. Kayak rentals are available through Hudson Valley Kayaks from May to October.
Your retreat here can be customized for a personal respite, a small gathering of friends, baby or bridal showers or small business empowerment retreats.
Every bedroom offers a view of the Hudson River along with the kitchen and dining area.
We are easily accessible from NYC, located 2 blocks from the New Hamburg (Hudson Line) Metro North train station and a short stroll from White Sail Marina where short term rental boat slips are available.
The home is a historic Victorian with décor of modern flair. There is a seasonal medicinal garden in the backyard that adds to your zen retreat where you can relax and restore on a hammock, Adirondack or anti gravity chair.
