Myofascial Release Therapy
(Deep Tissue)
Myofascial Release is a safe and very effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial connective tissue restrictions to eliminate pain and restore motion.
This essential “time element” has to do with the viscous flow and the piezoelectric phenomenon: a low load (gentle pressure) applied slowly will allow a viscoelastic medium (fascia) to elongate.

Prenatal / Postnatal Massage
Pre and postnatal massage is a nurturing and nourishing support for care in all 4 trimesters of pregnancy.
Each mama arrives with her own intentions for her session so the session can be quite different from woman to woman.

Vata Season Treatment

The Vata Season Massage is a combination of craniosacral therapy, meditation and myofascial release therapy while using a warmed Organic Ayurvedic Vata Massage Oil which includes nine herbs, including ashwagandha, bala, and passionflower. These herbs nourish and ground vata, supporting vitality and stamina. The oil is made from a base of organic sesame and olive oils. These oils warm and lubricate the vata system.
Vata dosha is composed of the elements air and space. Any motion in the body requires vata. These include swallowing, breathing, nerve impulses, muscle movements, thinking, bowel movements, urination, and menstruation.
